Emma Elizabeth Doane, The daughter of George Alexander Doane (1820-1872) & Margaret E. Procunier (1823-1864), Emma was born January 11, 1849 in Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada and died December 17, 1949 in Armanda, Michigan just three weeks shy of her 101st birthday. Emma married 1st James Duffy 1864 (no children); married 2nd In 1865 in Sparta, Ontario, Canada, John Henry High (the son of Amos High & Mary Ann Goodwin). John was born November 26, 1841 in Stratfordville, Ontario Canada and died March 17, 1909 in Detroit, Michigan. John emigrated to Michigan in 1869.
