Jacob Bragonier Jr, the son of Jacob Bragonier, Sr (1755-1821) & Elizabeth Palmer (1775-1859); Jacob Jr was born 11 Nov 1821 Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Married Matilda Thomas in 1845. Matilda was born 4 December 1826 Franklin County, Pennsylvania, died 20 July 1894 Scott County, Princeton Township, Iowa. Jacob died 24 November 1898 in Scott County also. He was a farmer, Road Supervisor & School Director during his 77 years. In 1854 Jacob was just a poor farmer but a hard worker. He moved his family to Iowa in 1854, bought a farm & by 1882 Jacob became one of the largest and most well-to-do farmers in Scott County, Iowa, with 695 acres of land valued at $40.00 per acre and in 1882 was worth $27,800.00

Martha Virginia, 1852-1938 never married.

David James, 1859-1920 Moved to California in 1907 married Maude CameliaMajor 1866 Tacoma, Washington.
George Mardis, 1860-1866
Sarah Mary, 1864- In 1910 living in Tama Co Iowa
Howard Edgar, 1871-1946 Operated An Undertaker Parlor, Clinton, IA, married Elizabeth Brooks, one child Ruth Ann.
