John R. Benson; son of William B. Benson (1820-1877) & Catharine Ann Procunier (1829-1868); John was born on 21 Nov 1847 in Port Rowan, Norfolk, Ontario; died on 25 Aug 1917 in Myrtle Point, Oregon. John married Carrie A. Vaughn on 11 Jan 1869 in Vinton, Oregon. Carrie was born on 02 Feb 1853 in Sterling, Michigan; died on 18 Dec 1928 in Myrtle Point, Oregon. (One child)

Mable Anita Benson born on 14 Oct 1896 jn LaPorte City, Iowa; married L.A. Roberts in Myrtle, Point, Oregon.
