Allan's mother's personal Procunier Family moved to Seattle early in this century, and that she, her mother, father and five sisters lived there for many years. In fact Allan and his two brothers were born in Seattle, most of Winnie's sisters and their families lived there all during their adult lives. Winnifred Procunier met and married Allan's dad, Guy Austin Bell, in Seattle. His folks had migrated up there from Bennet, Nebraska about the same time the Procuniers had arrived there. Not sure exactly when this was. It was Guy, Allan's dad who left there and moved to Glendale, California back in the 30's because he hated that cold weather.
2/11/97 Winnie was a Pisces by birth, being born on Feb 22; She was literally an "Angel", at least in my eyes. She was really, the only person I have known that was really and truly CHRISTLIKE in CHARACTER AND PERSONALITY, AND IN THE WAYS THAT I AM SURE SHE THOUGHT AND ACTED MOST OF THE TIME DURING HER LIFE. And this is especially true since I FIRST KNEW HER. She was a METHODIST and had been all of her life, but never once did I ever hear her try to convert anyone to her way of thinking and worshipping and church going. NO, SHE LIVED AS SHE BELIEVED. SHE HAD THE FAITH THAT IS REQUIRED OF ANYONE WHO CAN TRULY BE CALLED CHRISTIAN, IN IT'S MOST SACRED SORT OF MEANING. HER CHRIST-LIKE GOODNESS, MANIFESTED ITSELF IN THE MANY WAYS SHE "SERVED" OTHERS, FROM THE MOST MUNDANE OF WAY, TO THE MORE SOUL-LIKE, SPIRITUAL WAY.
Allan said he never heard her gossip about or say bad things about anyone. He said that he never heard her say a swear word, (as he often hears me do);
He told me to tell you that just before he was to ship over seas, during WW2 he had come home on leave. On the very day, he had to be in uniform and go to the plane so as to fly back to base, and from there overseas, his mom, felt sad about his leaving BUT SHE TOLD HIM LATER TOO, THAT SHE KNEW INWARDLY, THAT HE WOULD RETURN HOME SAFELY. SHE HAD THE FAITH TO BELIEVE THIS AND OF COURSE HE DID. BEB
