Isaac Procuneor was married to Amy McCleish January the 13th in the year 1829

It appears that Peter's son Isaac's family kept the family bible after Peter's death. There are births & deaths recorded for several of Isaac's children, grand children & in-laws.

You will notice that Peter Procunier Jr (as I call him Jr since his father was Peter Sr) spells his surname with two (2) “cc” in this bible. (Proccunier) At one time he spelled his surname as Prockunier which is noted in a few censuses.  After Peter Jr’s father Peter Brockunier Sr died Peter referred to himself as Peter Proccunier Senior since his son went by Peter Jr.

Here in my research and my website I have referred to them as Peter Sr (1727-1804); Peter Jr (1764-1847) and as Peter III (1795-1832).
